Light Outdoor Lantern
Hampton Bay Outdoor Lantern - never turns itself off?
Can anyone help me to get my Hampton Bay outdoor lantern to work properly? The motion sensor seems to work well - maybe too well. The light goes on...and...well...never shuts itself of, no matter if I select 2 min, 6 min, test or Dusk til Dawn setting. Thanks
The sensor may not be exposed to full sunlight enough. If it is on the plug, you may need to use an extension cord to bring the sensor out from the wall.
Can the lantern be turned so that the sunlight hits the sensor directly? Have you read through the instruction booklet that came with it? Or gone online to their website and used their customer service line to help you.
We have a yardlight that has a sensor - annoying on cloudy days but sure comes in handy when we're out of town....
