Aquarium Grow Light
Growing aquarium plants, is it suitable to leave the light on..........?
Hello there,
I was wondering if i left my aquarium light on all the time that the plants in their would grow quicker than normal? Also what can i feed then to keep them healthy? Chz for your help, Jordan.

Is this freshwater or salt water?
Fresh water is much easier (kind of), I'd get a timer, that way you don't have to worry about over lighting them (they get sun-burn just like we do!) You can pick up a timer at home depot or loews or a pet store. (obviously home depot/loews is going to be much cheaper)
I personally have a timer I got from a pet store (paid about 15$ for it) and one I got from home depot (4$), they both work EXACTLY the same!
They make a liquid aquarium plant food you can just add to the tank once a week or so. I don't know the name of it off the top of m y head....
They also make a substrate to add to the bottom of the tank (kind of like mud?) to put under the gravel
SALTWATER:
most saltwater plants are a type a algae... They grow really fast, and usually don't need anything special that your tank doesn't have already. (unless you have poop lighting.. then you may need to upgrade the lighting)
