Best Indoor Garden Grow Light
What are the best T12 Fluorescent tube lights for indoor plant seeding?
I do quite a bit of indoor gardening, more every year. I purchased a couple sets of lights last year and more this year. My purpose is to grow tomato plants, egg plants, and start some perrenials indoors. I currently have 120 tomato plant seedlings and planning another 60.
I bought the Verilux instant sun natural spectrum lights and the sylvania full spectrum daylight lights and I put one of each on my fixture. Are these the best T12 fluorescent lights I can buy? If not, what is best and how should I have my fixture set up? Things are going very well, but since I am expanding, if I get better results by spending an extra amount of money, it may be worth it.

I did some research online for my own indoor growing efforts. Full spectrum fluorescent lights were recommended on some of the sites I browsed. I bought a 48" fixture with Sylvania T8 tubes, one cool and one warm tube. T12 would work, too, you'll just get more light. I've had mine set up for about a month now. My plants are HAPPY! 
Before this I used grow light bulbs that were about the size of a spotlight bulb. Not so efficient.
For starting seedlings you want the light source about 12" above the planting trays. Fluoresecnt lighting is cooler than incandescent so you don't need to worry about the bulbs burning/heating the seedlings.
