Light Air Cooled Grow Light
When should I put my plants outside?
I am new at planting, and I started some Sweet William flowers in a greenhouse kit. I have followed the instrux on the package, and so far they have sprouted nicely. The directions state to prop the dome open after the seeds appear to improve air circulation, which I have done. However, there is not very good sunlight inside my house but there IS in my yard. Is it too early to place them outside, but not transplant them into my ground soil yet? I live in zone 5 (the Midwest) and the temperatures are still somewhat cool. Or should I get a growing light?
Sweet Williiams are not particularly tender plants, and a dose of sunshine will do them no end of good. Put them out in the sun and just keep an eye on yourt local weather forecast. If it says frost is possible, either cover them up at night or take them in.
By now each plant will need a separate pot, filled with new compost, so the roots can develop and the plant has room to bush up, before you plant them out.
