where to buy a high pressure sodium light, for growing plants. i would like to buy it at a local store.?
i really need a hps light ASAP. i would like to buy it at a local growing light store but if i need tyo get it off the internet i need a secure sight that is forreal to buy it from,.
Try an electrical supply company. HPS are a very common fixture, but also very expensive to purchase and operate. They have various voltages for supply and come in different wattage. A 400 watt fixture at 120 volt needs a 20 amp circuit to start the firing card. The fixtures are not easy to work on and they are difficult to repair. A better grow light and much easier to install and operate for most plants are the fluorescent grow lights. These work quite well for most plants. A typical fixture will weigh close to 50 lbs, good luck.
