If you cover your pumpkin with oil will it not be dangerous?
Recently on here, the question of how long a pumkin can last was asked. Several responded suggesting covering the pumkin with vegetable oil or petroleum products. Since not everyone uses bicycle flashlights to light their pumpkins and the traditional manner is a small candle, is this not dangerous advice to put out there without any caveates? What non-flamable substance could you use? Thanks.
no, you should use a rag to rub the oil on the pumpkin. it will make it shine and it will not burn.
