Bright Bike Bicycle Light

What is the Best and brightest headlight for a bike to use on the St. I am looking for something like a xenon HID light so I can ride after work... Than;X
I currently have a cateye, HL-EL520 ( http://www.cateye.com/en/product_detail/326 ) and want to look in to a brighter solution, HID or Xeon . The light I have now is good, but it doesn't luminate as far as I would like.
There are no head lights that come close to the light output of a HID system. LED and halogens do OK sometimes but if you want to see where you are going and don't want to over ride your headlight the only choice is HID. The short coming is in run time, but that's what you get from a head light that will light up the road like it is high noon.
