Dancing LED Sound
Any modern band comparable to Led Zepplin or Jimi Hendrix that has talent and ingenuity?
Well, I'm almost sure I sound like my parents, but all of the "hip hop" crap sounds no different than when I used to see the National Geographic shows on African tribes that danced to the "thump"of a drum (like the subwoofer bass in your car that is slowly making you deaf and disturbing my peace, even though I live in the country-I'm going to laugh so hard when it's me, the old lady talking and YOU can't hear what I'm saying because you're DEAF) and mumbled words, except that now they pepper it with gutter talk degrading everyone. In 20 years, no one has "broken out" of the shell with any ingenuity (even the 80's were more creative and diverse than now) and only perpetuate the hate and anger without much variation, inspiration, or creativity. Give me examples to prove me wrong.
No argument here. Most of the marketable music available today is produced on synthesizers and computers. The "artists" have no real talent, and couldn't play a musical instrument if their lives depended on it. Modern music began a slow death beginning in the early 80's. Today's kids think that the background noise heard while playing video games is "music". They have no idea that it was created by nose picking nerds on a laptop, nor do they care.
