LED Black Flashlight
Black light to find dog urine stains?
I bought a small "black light" flashlight under the advice of a dog trainer. I was going to use it to find old dog urine stains in our carpet, and then treat the spots with an enzyme cleaner. Except, the blacklight doesn't show urine stains where I know them to be.
Could the flashlight be putting out "black light" in the wrong frequency range? The unit puts out enough. Its also multiple LED's versus a single bulb.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
The only time I've ever seen anyone use a black light to find urine stains was by using one of the standard long-tube ones. I haven't seen the flashlight type - does it behave as a 'normal' black light when you shine it on other things?
