how to paint reflector?
Hi, I want to recover the reflector of a flashlight, you know, the one that is chrome like color, to reflect the light from LED or a bulb. - any suggestion ?
How can they have the color or chrome over non metal ( plastic ) media
and how can I use the paint chrome to wood plank ( guitar body or something ) ?

You can put a reflective surface on plastic by making the surface conductive and plating it or by mixing the shiny pigment into the plastic or by vacuum depositing a metal. If you have looked at the floating mylar balloons in the stores or the insulating packs for some candy, you will see that putting aluminum into plastic is done by the ton each day.
It is almost impossible to paint chrome and have it come out the way you want as the surface has to be very, very smooth and the paint applied flawlessly or it looks duller than the kind of silver sheen you can get. Depending on what you want to do, you might look into the decorative decals sold for models or check on applying a thin adhesive and gluing down the mylar balloon film.
