tell me the meaning or full form of LED light or lamp, example- its used in automobiles?
LED means "Light Emitting Diode." It is a semiconductor diode (i.e., a silicon chip) that glows when an electric current passes through it.

LEDs are relatively efficient compared to incandescent light bulbs: They use about one tenth the energy to produce the same amount of light.

LEDs generate only a fraction of the heat that incandescent lamps generate (heat is energy). Also, LED light sources are much smaller than incandescent bulbs. Because of these two facts, the designer of an LED light fixture has far more freedom to create new, innovative types of lighting than could ever be created with incandescent light sources.
Unlike incandescent lamps, LEDs do not burn out. They don't last forever, but what happens is that their light output slowly fades with use. Typical useful lifetimes for LED lamps are in the tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of hours.
That fact, and the fact of their low power requirement makes them attractive for lighting in vehicles. The overall cost of the vehicle can be reduced by using LED lighting, because there is no need to provide access for changing bulbs, and because the vehicle's electrical system need not supply as much power.
