Solar Light Glass
Where would I buy a Heliosonde (a device in a glass vacuum which freely spins when light strikes it)?
I had one a little while ago (bought from e-bay) and during a move it smashed. I am now desperately trying to find a replacement but cannot track any down on-line. Do anyone have any ideas where I can buy one from on-line or otherwise?
A Heliosonde, as far as I know they are called, is a device in a vacuum which freely spins when light strikes it. The light particles (photons) are repelled by the black side of the wheel paddles, causing it to spin - not solar wind, but repulsing of photons.

Many Hobby Shops, like the national chains Hobbytown, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby, have them. In many shopping malls there are special "Science Stores" which have them.
if your town has a science museum, expecially a Children's Museum, the Gift Shop there may have them.
BY THE WAY, you have it a bit backwards. the black side ABSORBS photons, and the WHITE side repels (reflects) photons. Minor problem . . . .
